We perform permanent epilation based on the principle of selective photothermolysis. The device produces light radiation of an incoherent wavelength, sensitive to the dye in the hair - melanin. The light beam penetrates to the root of the hair (follicle), reacts with its dye and changes the light radiation into thermal energy, heating the hair root to an extremely high temperature and its definitive destruction.

The desired result is a permanent reduction of unwanted hair, that is, a permanent reduction in the number of hairs in the given area and a change in their quality to fine, light hairs, which the client already perceives as aesthetically pleasing.

Since the device detects dye, for successful epilation it is necessary to hit the hair in its active growth phase – then it contains the most dye. However, each part of the body has an individual number of roots in the active phase. That is why sufficiently long breaks are necessary between individual epilations. It is ideal to repeat the treatment when the hair starts to grow again. The root regrowth phase occurs within 3 to 8 weeks after the previous procedure.

What you need to know before epilation

• untanned skin is suitable
• hairs must not be epilated with a machine or any other method (at least 6 weeks before the procedure
• hairs can be shaved with a razor or clipped with scissors.

On average, epilation needs to be repeated 3 to 5 times, at 3 to 8 week intervals. In most cases, laser epilation is accompanied by mild skin irritation after the procedure. After the procedure, sunbathing is not recommended for at least 2 to 3 weeks.

Contraindications - when not to epilate

• in people who develop hypertrophic and keloid scars
• in cases of active or frequent occurrence of herpes infection on the epilated area
< li>6 weeks after waxing, tweezing or plucking
• 6 months after total use of natural or synthetic vitamin derivatives A (used to treat acne)
• in case of local use of retinoids (RETIN A) or whitening preparations: hydroquinone (discontinue 2 weeks before the procedure)
